MICHAEL PICKETT

Michael Charles “M.C.” Pickett, 61, of Atlanta, Ga., died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Pickett was born Nov. 10, 1948, in Garland City, Ark. He was a Marine Corps veteran. <br />Survivors include one brother, Ruben Butler of Texarkana; three sisters, Charlene Cox and Mary Young of Texarkana and Mattie Harper of San Diego; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lyles Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. <br />Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
