BERNICE SCOTT

<br />HOPE, Ark.—Bernice Scott, 83, of Prescott, Ark., died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, in a Prescott nursing home. <br /><br />Mrs. Scott was born May 10, 1926. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, K.G. Scott; and three sons, Clemmie Scott, Johnny Scott and Stacey Scott. <br /><br />Survivors include six daughters and two sons-in-law, Bobbie and Albert Broughton of Chicago and Margaret Stuart, Anna Scott, Emma Scott, Lashondra Scott and Latisa and Eddie Gillard of Prescott; one sister, Mae Thelma Block of Prescott; and a number of other relatives. <br /><br />Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Prescott, with the Rev. Mickey Manning officiating. Burial will be in Deann Cemetery under direction of Brandon’s Mortuary. <br /><br />Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. <br />
