<br />ATLANTA, Texas—Tony Barnes, 56, of Atlanta died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, in Atlanta. <br /><br />Mr. Barnes was born Dec. 9, 1953, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a member of West Side Baptist Church, Atlanta, and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran. <br /><br />Survivors include his wife, Debbie Martin Barnes of Atlanta; one son, Shane Turnage of Atlanta; one daughter, Lorie Turnage of Texarkana; one brother, John Barnes of Elkhorn City, Ky.; one sister, Shirley Ferrington of Winnsboro, La.; two grandchildren, Matthew Hart and Monica Norris of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. <br /><br />Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jim Howard officiating.
