AMBRUS CHAUNCY

ASHDOWN, Ark.—Ambrus Chauncy, 68, of Ashdown died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, in Ashdown. <br />Mr. Chauncy was born April 7, 1941, in Ashdown. He was an inspector for the City of Ashdown, retired from Georgia Pacific, founder of Lick Creek Hunting Club and a charter member of E.T. Allen Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Madison McKara Lansdell. <br />Survivors include his wife, Annette Young Chauncy of Ashdown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Karen Chauncy and Donald Gene and Julie Chauncy of Ashdown; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Anthony Garrett of Hobbs, N.M., and Alisha and Seneca Moore of Killeen, Texas; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Madden Funeral Services with the Rev. Ray Cromer officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
