MILDRED WELCH

GURDON, Ark.—Mildred Reynolds Welch, 87, of Clark County, Ark., died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009. <br />Mrs. Welch was a retired teacher with Red Springs community and Gurdon Public School, past member of Kadohadacho Club and a member of ATRA and Red Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Welch. <br />Survivors include one sister, Marcelle Vick of El Dorado, Ark.; five nephews, Ray Tucker, Ronnie Gulledge, Randy Gulledge, Sam Reynolds and Dennis Reynolds; and four nieces, Nancy Sunderland, Penny Alred, Pam Davis and Rita Stricklin. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. today at Red Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Black officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Springs Cemetery under direction of Pharr Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. today at the church. <br />Memorials may be made to Red Springs Baptist Church or a favorite charity. <br />Online registration is at www.pharrfuneralhomes.com.
