CHESTER HAGAN

ASHDOWN, Ark.—Chester Crandall Hagan, 86, of Ashdown died Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, in Texarkana, Texas. <br />Mr. Hagan was born Feb. 10, 1923, in Stuttgart, Ark. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church, Ashdown, a Gid-eon and a World War II Marine veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, May-lene Hagan of Ashdown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert M. and Johnette Hagan and Dennis R. and Starley Hagan of Ashdown; two daughters and one son-in-law, Fonda and Steve Hawthorne of Ashdown and Glenda Hartley of Stuttgart, Ark.; one brother, Calvin Hagan of Little Rock; one sister, Maylene Carter of Little Rock; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Wednes-day at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Butch Riddle officiating. Burial will be in Ashdown Memorial Gardens under direction of Madden Funeral Services. <br />Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
