FANNIE MCKENZIE

HOPE, Ark.—Fannie Delois Hamilton King McKenzie, 69, of Meridian, Miss., formerly of Nashville, Ark., died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, in Meridian. <br />Mrs. McKenzie was born Aug. 19, 1940. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Asher King II; and one daughter, Denita Rochelle King. <br />Survivors include her husband, John McKenzie Sr. of Meridian; one daughter, Deborah Marshall of Nashville; four sons, Richard King of Mineral Springs, Ark., William R. King of Hot Springs, Ark., and James Patrick King and Donald Ray King of Nashville; three brothers including Floyd Haislip of Nashville; five sisters; one aunt, Jessie Hamilton of Nashville; 30 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at New Light CME Church, Nashville, with Andrew Hawthorne Sr. and the Rev. Tony King officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens, Nashville, under direction of Hicks Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
