JANE GILLIS

DEKALB, Texas—Jane Ann Tidwell Gillis, 76, of San Angelo, Texas, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, in San Angelo. <br />Mrs. Gillis was born April 10, 1933, in Bassett, Texas. She was a retired teacher and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Calvin Gillis. <br />Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and David Kennedy of New Braunfels, Texas, and Rebecca and Rick Bohannon of Blanchard, Okla.; one son, John Perry Gillis of New Braunfels; three grandchildren and one spouse, Daniel Braden Kennedy of Omaha, Neb., Lindsey and Travis Pitcock of Bloomfield, N.M., and J.B. Solis of San Angelo; one great-grandchild, Braydon Walker Pitcock; and a number of other relatives. <br />Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bates Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Fagan officiating. Inurnment will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, Simms, Texas.
