J.D. ELLIOTT

J.D. Elliott, 83, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mr. Elliott was born Jan. 29, 1926, in Dover, Ark. He was a retired insurance agent, a member of Hampton Church of Christ and a World War II Army veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Lillie Cates Elliott of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Bill Pearcy of Texarkana; three grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law, Robert and Carol Pearcy and Kristy and David Bramlett of Texarkana and Jay Duke and Haven Pearcy of Fayetteville, Ark.; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chapelwood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Opportunities Inc. <br />Online registration is at www.chapelwoodfuneralhome.com. <br />
