HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Runette Alexander Copeland, 83, of Hughes Springs died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at her home. <br />Mrs. Copeland was born April 18, 1926, in Pine, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by one husband, Norman Alexander; and one great-grandchild, Eban Brown. <br />Survivors include her husband, Doyle Copeland of Hughes Springs; three daughters and three sons-in-law, Nan and Ed Walker of Cypress, Texas, Sue and Jim Wilson of Longview, Texas, and Julie and Allen Johnson of Alexandria, La.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with Mickey Rorex officiating. Burial will be in Hughes Springs Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com. <br /> <br />
