JEFFERY RAU

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Jeffery Dean Rau, 21, of Lone Star, Texas, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, in a Longview, Texas, hospital. <br />Mr. Rau was born Dec. 30, 1987. He was employed by Granite Manpower of Dallas and member of Lone Star Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffery Peter Rau. <br />Survivors include his mother, Rebecca Rau of Lone Star; one sister and brother-in-law, Stacie and Michael Fair of Daingerfield, Texas; his grandparents, Bobby and Rita Tilley of Lone Star and Dennis and Grace Rau of Hughes Springs; great-grandmothers, Faye Murphy of Plainview, Texas, and Billie Ware of Lorenzo, Texas; one nephew; one niece; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Estes officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com.
