J.T. STILL

HOPE, Ark.—James Thomas “J.T.” Still, 81, of Hope died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Still was born Sept. 17, 1927, in Nevada County, Ark. He was a retired plaster and ceramic tile contractor, farmer and member of Unity Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include his wife, Barbara Simmons Still of Hope; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Brenda Still of Lonsdale, Ark., and Jack and Mona Still of Old Washington, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and David Stevenson of Hope; three sisters-in-law, Margaret Still and Willie Mae McKee of Hope and Willie Mae Still of Shreveport, La.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Unity Baptist Church with the Revs. I.V. Hight and Glen Tropp officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church Building Fund, 402 South Hervey St., Hope, AR 71801. <br />Online registration is at www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com. <br /> <br />
