GROVER JONES

Grover Laray Jones, 70, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mr. Jones was born Aug. 31, 1938, in Texarkana. He was a supervisor, a member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church and a Navy veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Fannie Mae Jones of Texarkana; three sons, Ronnie Jones and Reggie Jones of Texarkana and Dwayne Jones Sr. of Albalona, Calif.; one brother, Charles “Chuckie” Jones of San Burnadine, Calif.; two sisters, Mariane Allen of Texarkana and Wilma Rucker of San Burnadine; and three grandchildren, Manecia Jones, Banecia Jones and Dwayne Jones Jr. <br />Services will be noon Saturday at Richardson Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Patrick A. Hill officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. <br />Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
