JOHNNIE REEVES

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Johnnie Mae Reeves, 87, of Omaha, Texas, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at her home. <br />Mrs. Reeves was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Morris County, Texas. She was a choir member and mission member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reeves; one son, Eddie Reeves; and two grandchildren. <br />Survivors include one daughter, Betty Payne of Oklahoma City; four sons, Williams Reeves of Irving, Texas, Freddie Reeves of Cleburne, Texas, Roy of Cason, Texas, and Henry Reeves of Tyler, Texas; one sister, Wanda Lee of Dallas; one special friend, Bennie Whetstone; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Omaha First Baptist Church with Bobby Jones officiating. Burial will be in Bell Haven Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. <br />The body may be viewed today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com. <br /> <br />
