WILLIAM HAYES

ASHDOWN, Ark.—William Charles Hayes, 40, of Ashdown died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, in a Dallas hospital. <br />Mr. Hayes was born March 21, 1968, in Texarkana, Ark. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include his wife, Sharmona “Nickie” M. Hayes of Ashdown; three sons, Aaron Flowers, Nicholas Britt and Trendell Cantley of Ashdown; two daughters, RaSheena Cantley of Ashdown and Latoya Wingfield of Saratoga, Ark.; his parents, the Rev. O.C and Lou Hattie Hayes; of Texarkana; one brother, James Hayes of Texarkana; six sisters, Wanda Hayes, Carolyn Faye Hayes, Linda Hayes, Norlene Hayes and Tomeki Williams of Texarkana and Callie May Hayes of Nashville; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. today at Red Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Talton Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery under direction of Madden Funeral Services. <br /> <br />
