BOB CONLEY

LINDEN, Texas—Bobby Doyle Conley, 76, of Linden died Monday, March 9, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Conley was born April 21, 1932, in Saltillo, Texas. He was retired from Linden First National Bank, former mayor and city councilman of Linden, a member of Linden Lions Club, Linden Youth Baseball Association, Linden United Methodist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars and a Navy veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Conley of Linden; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Dale Ann Conley and Ronnie and Midge Conley of Texarkana, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Rex Norris of Saltillo; two grandchildren, Zachary Ryan Conley and Cade D. Conley of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Linden United Methodist Church with Charles Russell and Don Holt officiating. Burial will be in Old Saltillo Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com. <br /> <br />
