MARY WHITE

GURDON, Ark.—Mary Frances White, 81, of Salem, Ark., formerly of Gurdon, died Saturday, March 7, 2009, in a Salem hospital. <br />Mrs. White was born Jan. 10, 1928, in Gurdon. She was a homemaker and retired from Ouachita Baptist University, worked at Salem Library and Senior Adult Center and was a member of First Baptist Church of Gurdon and Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Marion White. <br />Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jerry Lindblom of Salem; one son and daughter-in-law, David White and Teri Harper of Dallas; one sister, Estelle Parsons; one sister-in-law, Virginia Mauldin; three grandchildren, Seth Lindblom, Nicki White and Adam White; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with James R. Raines officiating. Burial will be in Rosehedge Cemetery under direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon. <br />Online registration is at www.pharrfuneralhomes.com. <br /> <br />
