GERTRUDE McDANIEL

FLINT, Mich.—Gertrude McDaniel, 89, formerly of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, March 6, 2009, in Flint. <br />Mrs. McDaniel was born April 1, 1919, in Hempstead County, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph McDaniel. <br />Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Bettye Snowden of Texarkana and Raymond and Mercedes Snowden of Carthage, Texas; three sisters, Mernella Dixon of Prescott, Ark., Emma Washington of Nash, Texas, and Vernice Simon of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, Flint. Burial will be in River Rest Cemetery. <br /> <br />
