JAMES MARTIN

NAPLES, Texas—James W. Martin, 65, of Aubrey, Texas, died Monday, March 9, 2009, in a Corinth, Texas, hospital. <br />Mr. Martin was born Nov. 29, 1943, in DeKalb, Texas. He was a retired truck driver, a member of Church of Christ and a Navy veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Janet Martin of Aubrey; five daughters, Misty Hughes of Houston, Leanna Cote of Corsicana, Texas, Bobbie May Pruitt of Scurry, Texas, Tiffany Martin of Springtown, Texas, and Kimberly Black of Krum, Texas; two sons, Austin Black of Montgomery, Texas, and Troy Black of The Woodlands, Texas; two sisters, Christine Williams of Malta, Texas, and Sherry Collard of Red Oak, Texas; two brothers, David Martin of Simms, Texas, and Paul Martin of Waxahachie, Texas; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Woodmen Cemetery with Robby Bates officiating. Burial will be under direction of Harrison Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
