AMY HAAK

Amy L. Haak, 106, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, March 9, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Haak was born April 26, 1902, in Miller County, Ark. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Haak; and one daughter, Doris Ann Beeson. <br />Survivors include two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Robert and Robin Beeson of Texarkana and Lee Beeson of Dallas; one great-granddaughter, Katie Beeson of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. today at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Todd Reed officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery under direction of East Funeral Home, downtown. <br />Memorials may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church Building Fund. <br />Online registration is at www.mem.com. <br /> <br />
