HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Robert Jack “Bob” Goodson, 50, of Hughes Springs died Monday, March 9, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Goodson was born Sept. 2, 1958, in Hughes Springs. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Hughes Springs. <br />Survivors include his wife, Kathy of Hughes Springs; one son, Brian Goodson of Hughes Springs; five daughters, Shelley Goodson of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Lisa Gilbreath of Victoria, Texas, Candy Costello of Omaha, Texas, Dana Justice of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Amanda McDonald of Rocky Branch, Texas; his parents, Robert and Jacquelyn Goodson of Hughes Springs; one brother, Jimmy Goodson of Hughes Springs; one sister, Joni McGrew of Seguin, Texas; two grandsons; 11 stepgrandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Hughes Springs, with the Rev. Larry Neeley and Shelley Goodson officiating. Burial will be in Hughes Springs Cemetery, Jack Witt section, under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to Texas Home Health Hospice, 500 E.
