ROY VANDIVER

GURDON, Ark.—Roy C. Vandiver, 83, of Gurdon died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, in Arkadelphia, Ark. <br />Mr. Vandiver was born May 29, 1925, in Prescott, Ark. He was an electrician at Anthony Mill, a Mason, a Shriner and a member of Blue Lodge and Beech Street Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include his wife, Liz Vandiver of Gurdon; one son, William Roy Vandiver of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Blanche Cummins of Texarkana and Coy Miller of Prescott; two grandchildren, William “Bo” Bradley of Gurdon and Kari Elizabeth Harper of Arkadelphia; and three great-grandchildren, Brady and Lauren Vandiver of Curtis, Ark., and Hayden Harper of Arkadelphia. <br />Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at DeAnn Cemetery, Prescott, with Jerry Westmoreland officiating.
