EVELYN WARE

Evelyn Ware, 79, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, March 5, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Ware was born July 6, 1929, in Texarkana. She was vice president of Thrifty Seven-Eleven Club and a mission member and choir member of New Town Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Ware; and one daughter, Toni Michele. <br />Survivors include seven sons, James Edward Ware, Edgar Ware Jr., Johnny Earl Ware, Allen Dale Ware, Terrance D. Ware and Reginald B. Ware of Texarkana and Galvin D. Ware of Fort Hood, Texas; five daughters, Ruby Jean Nard of Houston, Mary Elizabeth Carlson of Ashdown, Ark., Annette Ware Lewis of Texarkana, Evangela K. Holliman of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Sydney Joyce Smith of Memphis, Tenn.; five brothers, Brooks Hamilton of Carson, Calif., WIllie Hamilton of Hope, Ark., Obie Hamilton Jr. and Ronnie Hamilton of Texarkana and Roy Hamilton of Little Rock; two sisters, Yvonne Bates of St. Louis and Verna Satterfield of Omaha, Neb.; 26 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Town Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Keener officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Haynes Mortuary. <br />Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.haynesmortuary.com. <br /> <br />
