WARREN ALDERSON

STAMPS, Ark.—Warren Curtis Alderson, 85, of Lewisville, Ark., died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Alderson was born Aug. 31, 1923, in Sinton, Texas. He was a retired oilfield worker with Sun Oil Co. and a member of Lewisville First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Warren Alderson. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Warren and Shirley Alderson of Corpus Christi, Texas; three daughters and sons-in-law, Elsie and Wayne Halbert of Taylor, Ark., Polly and Daniel Darilek of Port LaVaca, Texas, and Hilda and Charles Curry of Benton, La.; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Lane Garner officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery, Lewisville. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
