MAUDIE HODGE

Maudie Mae Hodge, 95, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, March 12, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Hodge was born March 21, 1913, in Belcher, La. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. She was preceded in death by two sons, Paul Porier and Leroy Porier. <br />Survivors include one daughter, Doris Shields of Stigler, Okla.; two grandsons, Donald Davis of Keota, Okla., and Kenneth W. Shields of Sand Springs, Okla.; one granddaughter, Lana Lamb of Stigler; three great-grandchildren, Morgan Tyler Davis, Christina Williams and Blaine Lamb; one great-great-grandchild, Landan Williams; and two special friends, Rea Cole and Dorothy Phillips. <br />Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Hillcrest Memorial Park with John Hall officiating.
