CLYDE COATS

ATLANTA, Texas—Clyde Coats, 91, of Queen City, Texas, died Monday, March 16, 2009, in Queen City. <br />Mr. Coats was born Nov. 3, 1917, in Atlanta. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a Baptist and a World War II Army veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Mary Crowder Coats of Queen City; two sons, Frankie Coats and Freddy Coats of Atlanta; two daughters, Kathy Murry of Atlanta and Barbara Edwards of Lewisville, Texas; three sisters, Lois Whittington of Atlanta, Eunice Perritt of Dallas and Irene Perkins of Bivins, Texas; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Queen City Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Raines officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.hannerfuneralservice.com. <br /> <br />
