JERRY FINNEY

Jerry Lee Finney, 75, of Marietta, Texas, died Sunday, March 15, 2009, in a Linden, Texas, hospital. <br />Mr. Finney was born July 30, 1933, in Chattanooga, Tenn. He was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by two sons, Carl Sanford and Christopher Sanford. <br />Survivors include his wife, Joyce Carson Finney of Marietta; seven daughters, Bonnie Mallory, Kathy Upchurch, Karin Lemay, Lisa Condee, Brenda Nichols, Dianne Edwards and Kathy Sanford; four sons, Blake Sanford and Beau Sanford of Marietta, David Sanford of Little Rock and Phillip Sanford of Benton, Ark.; one sister, Brenda Mahaffey of Chattanooga; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives. <br />Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. David Hazelwood officiating. Arrangements are under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.mem.com. <br /> <br />
