LINDEN, Texas—Bret Edmond Lawless, 50, of Linden died Sunday, March 15, 2009, in Abilene, Texas. <br />Mr. Lawless was born Oct. 14, 1958, in Ol-ney, Ill. He was an auctioneer, a salesman and of the non-denominational faith. <br />Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Tracy Kirby of Alba, Texas; his parents, the Rev. Ed and Mary Lou Lawless of Linden; two brothers, Jeff Lawless of Atlanta, Texas, and Shawn Grundon; three sisters, Brenda Washington, Renee Eaves and Diana Nimmo of Linden; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home with the Revs. Buck Newsome and Ed Lawless officiating. Burial will be in New Colony Cemetery. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com. <br /> <br />
