CURTIS POLITE JR.

Curtis Polite Jr., 42, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, March 16, 2009, in a Little Rock hospital. <br />Mr. Polite was born Nov. 26, 1966, in Ashdown, Ark. He was a mechanic. <br />Survivors include his wife, Chametra L. Polite of Texarkana; four sons, Vanquez English of Ashdown and Delano Jones of Nashville and Curtis Polite III and Demarcus Byrd of Texarkana; his mother, Mary Ann Newton of Ashdown; four brothers, Kenny Polite and Terrell Polite of Ashdown, Charles McClain of Wyley, Texas, and Ronnie Walker of Little Rock; and five sisters, Sherry Polite and Tenisha Polite of Ashdown and Pam McClain, Sharon Ross and Cheryl Green of Texarkana. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. L.D. Jordan officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
