MARY PORTERFIELD

Mary Edna Porterfield, 78, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Porterfield was born Nov. 6, 1930, in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland. She was a retired salesperson. <br />Survivors include three children, James Porterfield and Lissa Adkins of Texarkana and Harry Porterfield of Kingsland, Texas; four sisters, Hannah Laird of Amarillo, Texas, Shirley Butler of Graham, Wash., Marie Flowers of Stephenville, Newfoundland, and Cora Gilliam of Cornerbrook; one grandson, Jason Bolt of Copperas Cove, Texas; and one granddaughter, Brooklyn Porterfield of Allen, Texas. <br />No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. <br />
