BILLY FIKES

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Billy Jack Fikes, 76, of New Boston died Friday, March 20, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Fikes was born July 29, 1932, in Rochelle, Texas. He was a retired mechanic at the City of New Boston and an Army veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Mary Fikes of New Boston; one daughter, Debbie Edwards of New Boston; one stepson, Gary Joyner of New Boston; three brothers, R.L. Fikes, Gene Fikes and Butch Fikes; two sisters, Barbara Lemons and Louise Rhodes; four grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 3 p.m. today at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with Royce Faulknor officiating.
