M.B. ALLEN

LINDEN, Texas—M.B. “Red” Allen, 93, of Linden died Saturday, March 21, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Allen was born Aug. 11, 1915, in Hopkins County, Texas. He was retired from Bowie-Cass Electric Co-Op, a grocery store owner in the Almira community, a member of Northeast Texas Fox and Wolf Hunters Association and a charter member of Mill Creek Missionary Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include his wife, Iris Allen of Almira; one niece and nephew-in-law, Janell and Clyde Cannon of Hooks, Texas; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home with John Spanhank and Chris Shupe officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com. <br /> <br />
