EMRY BROWN

ATLANTA, Texas—Emry Purdis Brown, 91, of Queen City, Texas, died Thursday, March 19, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Brown was born Sept. 16, 1917, in Kildare, Texas. He was a retired railroad employee. <br />Survivors include one son, Purdis Brown Jr. of Queen City; three daughters, Doris Campbell of Queen City and Lovonia Milligan and Pinkie Lee Muldrew of Atlanta; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gwendolyn and Willie Ray Bolton of Lubbock, Texas, and Wanda Faye and Herbert City of Midland, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Christopher Collins officiating. Burial will be in Queen City Cemetery under direction of Community Mortuary. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
