JOE NEAL

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Joe Carroll Neal, 79, of New Boston died Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Neal was born Nov. 19, 1929, in New Boston. He was retired from Southland Corp., former member of University Baptist, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Simms, Texas, and a Korean War veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Maurine Tuck Neal; three daughters and sons-in-law, Rondalyn and Mike Neill of Maypearl, Texas, Carol and Jesse Hooks of Rowlett, Texas, and Beth and Ronnie Ponder of Texarkana; two sisters, Bernice Evans of New Boston and Clara Oliver of Texarkana; one nephew, James Tuck; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with the Rev. Cranford Graves officiating.
