BEULAH BAKENHUS

DE QUEEN, Ark.—Beulah Wayland Bakenhus, 84, of De Queen died Friday, March 27, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Bakenhus was born Aug. 26, 1924, in Tulsa, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of Nazarene Church, De Queen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Bakenhus, on Apr. 27 2002; and one grandchild, William Derick Bakenhus. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Gaythy Bakenhus of De Queen; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Tommy Henthorn of Idabel, Okla.; one brother, Bob Wayland of Tulsa, Okla.; and three grandchildren, Cassandra Ross of Shreveport, La., and Reisa Bakenhus and Dustin Bakenhus of De Queen. <br />Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Redmen Cemetery with Joyce McCown officiating.
