NAPLES, Texas—Jack "Bill" Lewis, 88, of Denton, Texas, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in Denton, Texas.
Mr. Lewis was born Oct. 29, 1929, in Naples. He was a retired postman with the United States Postal Service and an Army Corps veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fayrene Lewis; and one son, Michael Lewis.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Rick and Magda Lewis of San Antonio and Jack Lewis of Oneonta, Ala.; one daughter, Shelia Nelson of Denton; one brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Tricia Lewis of Missouri City, Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Naples Cemetery with the Rev. Nolan Richey officiating. Burial will be under direction of Harrison Funeral Home.
