MARY CURRY

Mary Ellen Curry passed away on Saturday January 04, 2020 at Baptist Health, Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Curry was 87 years old and a long-time resident of Texarkana, Arkansas and 65-year member of the Eleventh Street Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board, Deaconess and Mission Board. Mrs. Curry is survived by her son Clarence H. Curry, Jr., (Brenda) Boonton, New Jersey, and daughters Patricia Curry Porter (William) and Shirley M. Curry, both of Maumelle, Arkansas; grandchildren, Felicia Curry, Clarence III, Kimberly Khalil, Laquita Desmuke, Carl Desmuke Jr., Sean Curry; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Clarence H. Curry, Sr. The "Viewing and Abbreviated Service" will be held at Eleventh Street Baptist Church on Friday January 17, 5-7pm. The "Home Going Service" will be held the following day, Saturday January 18 at 1:00pm at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Stephens, Arkansas followed by the interment at the Cedar Grove Cemetery under the direction of Haynes Mortuary.
