BETTY TILLMAN

Mrs. Betty Jean Trammell Tillman, 80, of Texarkana, AR passed, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at her residence of natural causes. She was born October 27, 1940 in Wamba, Texas to the late Frank and Florence Trammell. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington, High School. She was a member of Twin City Church of Christ; employed for Christus St. Michael Health System in the Business Office for over 20 years. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Tillman; son, John O. Henderson; grandson, Shelby Tarpley Brandon Murphy, five brothers and five sisters. Betty is survived by daughter, Johnnie E. (Murray) Mitchell, Texarkana; three sons, Tony Trammell, Efferm ( Angela) Murphy, and Eddie Michele) Price all of Texarkana; sisters-in-law: Madie Tillman, Dayton, OH and Eula Brown, Texarkana; special added daughters, Marie Rose, Mattie Thomas and Tommie Walker; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. A walk through viewing will be Friday, 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Lyles Funeral Home, Inc. Viewing will be Saturday, 10:00-10:45 a.m., at Twin City Church of Christ, 2101 Texas Blvd, Texarkana, TX. A "Homegoing Celebration" for Mrs. Tillman will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, at Twin City Church of Christ with Brother Terrance Trammell officiating.
