Fredrick Joseph McCoart, Jr.

Fredrick Joseph McCoart, Jr, age 84, of Queen City, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born May 22, 1937 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Fredrick and Pearl McCoart. Fred was a member of Hampton Road Church of Christ in Texarkana and loved spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Dorothy Richardson, Marjorie Silva and Rosemary Kate. Fred is survived by two sons, Joe McCoart and wife Brenda of Bivins, Texas, Jeff McCoart and wife Paula of Southlake, Texas; nine grandchildren, Selena McCoart, Jeffery McCoart and wife Robyn, Rachel Crow and husband Blake, Emily Wasson and husband Ryan, Gabe McCoart, Lance Hawley, Chad Hawley, Jay Hawley and wife Megan, Ryan Hawley; eleven great grandchildren; special friend, Marcelle Yates; and a host of other family and friends. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Pine Crest Cemetery, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Bro. Billy Dupree officiating.
