DARREL OGLESBY SR.

Darrel Clifton Oglesby, Sr., age 79, of Foreman, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022. He was born on December 13, 1942 in Arkinda, Arkansas. He was retired from Ash Grove Cement and a member of IBEW Local 301 in Nash, Texas. Darrel was also a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Cross Roads, Arkansas. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener and Arkansas Razorback fan. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather (Pepaw), great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Marie Oglesby; and his great-grandson, Ryder Hamilton. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 62 years, Sharon (Click) Oglesby of Foreman, Arkansas, and children Darrel Clifton “Cliff” and wife Michelle of Sherman, Texas; Conred Martin “Marty” and wife Claudia of Foreman, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Conred Oglesby, Tabitha Oglesby, Tiffany Brown, and Keli Oglesby; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anita Baker and husband Billy and Beatrice Reed and husband Pat; and a number of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2022 at First Southern Baptist Church of Cross Roads, Arkansas with Audie Dawson officiating. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
