KRISTEN RAWLS

Kristen Denise Tarver Rawls, age 50, of Caddo Lake, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 28, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born June 14, 1972 in Dallas, Texas. Kristen was a graduate of Texas A&M and enjoyed being on the lake, music and scary movies. She was especially fond of her dogs, Sam and Benny and loved being with her family. Kristen is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Horton; father, Bud Tarver; and great nephew, Jacer Warrick. She is survived by her husband, Jason Rawls of Caddo Lake; sisters, Kelli Wright and husband Wayne of Linden, Texas, Alicia Methvin Jermyn and husband Steve of Seattle, Washington; dad, John Horton and wife Susan of Queen City, Texas; niece, Ashton Warrick and her husband Jared and their children, Kalaway Warrick and Kylo Warrick; nephew, Dalton Wright and wife Shyann and their expected son, Holden Wright; mother in law, Jamie Rawls; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be 11:30 am, Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at First Baptist Church, Queen City, officiated by Bro. Gene Parker and John Horton. Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, before the service. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to HeartsWay Hospice and Lauren and Mandy.
