JIMMY SHEW

Jimmy Eugene Shew, 73, of Atlanta, Texas passed away January 31, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Shew was born February 28, 1948 in Linden, Texas to J.E. and Cleo Eudine Shew. Jimmy served his country proudly in the United States Army. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Ola Faye Shew; two sons, David Shew (Contessa), Joey Shew (Heather); four daughters, Johnna Kunath (Jason), Tina Lewis (Corey), Ashley Elmore (Curtis), Brittany Arbuckle (Colby); one brother, Wayne Shew (Anita); three sisters, Pauline Manly, Wanda Bledsoe (Ronnie), Brenda Dean; 16 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.E. and Cleo “Eudine” Shew, and two sisters, LaFaye Richardson and Kathy Shew. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 4, 2022 at Center Hill Baptist Church. Interment will be at Center Hill Cemetery with Wayne Shew officiating and under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Hanner Funeral Service.
