BETTYE WIGGINS

Bettye Jean Wiggins, age 88, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, January 28, 2022 in a local hospital. Mrs. Wiggins was born April 1, 1933 in Tyler, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church, Texarkana. She was preceded in death by one sister, Bobbye Virginia Long and by a brother Henley Robinson. She is survived by her children, Bobby Wiggins Jr. and wife Mary of San Marcos, California, Virginia Ann Eagle and husband Bobby Franklin of Wake Village, Texas, James Donald Wiggins and wife Angela of Texarkana, Texas and Joni Lynn Pennington and husband Michael of Ashdown, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Cheryl Sanders of Mt. Dora, Florida; thirteen grandchildren, Austin, Justin, Jessica, Julia, Kathleen, Hunter, Joe, James, Jon, Jordan, Julian, Brad and Patrick; twenty-two great grandchildren: two great-great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Orville Farren officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1-2 P.M. prior to the service.
