SHELA McMURRY

Shela Dean McMurry, 72, passed December 6, 2021, in Yuma, AZ. Shela was born April 5, 1949, in Fouke, AR to James and Danie (McAdams) Dean. She was a lifelong resident of Texarkana except for the last few years moving to Yuma. Shela was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jimmie D. McMurry, and siblings Evelyn, Shirley and J.C. Survived by children, Cody (Sharon) Allen, Ace (Mary Sue) Crye, Tony (Kim) McMurry; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Vera, Janet, Laverne, Zelda, and Dennis; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial will be Feb. 5, 2022, at Vessels of Mercy Ministry, 530 Martine St., Texarkana, TX, corner of Martine and Pierre, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with potluck dinner following service.
