CHARLES CLAYTON

Charles Henry Clayton (October 29, 1943), 78, of Hope, Arkansas passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, February 11, 2022. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles Collier Clayton; mother, Nina May Bentley Walker Clayton; sister, Vivian Willis; brother-in-law, Clarence Willis; son, Bradley Scott Clayton; nieces, Mildred Lemons and Mary Cooper; and nephew, C.O. Willis. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Judith Smith Clayton; sons, Charles Henry Clayton, Jr., and Donald Barnett (April); daughters, Sherry Clayton Douglass (Reggie), Linda Barnett Richards (Mike), Michelle Barnett Fulmer (J.D.); and nephews, Jerry Willis, Don Willis, and Larry Willis. He was the proud grandpa of 18 grandkids and 19 great-grandkids. Charles enjoyed life and family. Camping and hunting were his passions. He loved his red Corvette, and he was a proud member of the ArkLaHomaTex Corvette Club. He is remembered by many for his life-long career in welding and inspecting. Charles will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
