Ronald “Ronnie” Wayne Woodruff, age 75, was the only child born to James Wallace Woodruff and Minnie Belle Holt Woodruff. Born in Nashville on May 7, 1946, Ronnie was a life-long Nashville resident. He passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, in a Little Rock hospital. Ronnie is survived by one son J. Holt Woodruff (Sarah) of Durham, N.C.; and two daughters Abbie Reeves of Benton; Mendy Wright of Little Rock.; and five grandchildren: J.D. Woodruff, Anna Woodruff, Rachel Woodruff, Nolan Reeves, Ryker Reeves. He is also survived by sisters- in-law; Catherine Jones, Virginia Flaherty, Billie Sisler, Pam Caldwell; and brothers -in-law Charles Sullivan, and Jimmy Don Sullivan, a special aunt Joyce Woodruff, and a host of close friends and relatives. His parents, his beloved Mary Jane Sullivan Woodruff, and siblings-in-law Charlie Nell Dellinger, Berta Sue Spicer, Jackie Stout, Edwin Sullivan, and Rebecca Sullivan preceded Ronnie in Death. Ronnie graduated from Nashville High School in 1964. He went on to obtain a degree from Ouachita Baptist University, graduating in 1970. Ronnie always worked for his father in their family business, Woodruff Distributing Company and Woody’s Mini Mart, and became the owner upon his father’s passing. After his own retirement, Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his friends and their adventures and traveling with his family. He was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church and was active in his Sunday School Class. Visitation will be Thursday night, February 17, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm at Nashville Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 18, 2022, at 10 am at First Baptist Church in Nashville with Bro. Kevin Sartin officiating. Ronnie will be buried by his parents and grandparents, Ace and Tava (Boatwright) Woodruff in Restland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Youth Home, Inc. 20400 Colonel Glenn Rd., Little Rock, Arkansas 72210.
