Mr. Donnie Batts, 63 of Texarkana, Arkansas transitioned on Monday, February 22, 2022. Mr. Batts was born August 10,1959 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He retired from Humco Holding Group, Texarkana, Arkansas. He was a member of Mt. Grove Baptist Church of Texarkana, Arkansas. He enjoyed singing in the choir. He enjoyed his best friend “Scooter” his company keeper. Mr. Batts was preceded in death by: His mother: Artella Yarber; stepfather: Gus Yarber; three brothers, Edward James Martin, Jimmy Lee Batts, Freddie Lee Batts; three aunts: Roberta Boyd, Annie B. Scales, Coreane Baker, three uncles: Grady Batts, W. B. Batts, and Roy L. Batts. He leaves to cherish his memories: Wife: Mary Batts, Son: Sawatzki Batts, Daughter: Gabrielle Loper, Sister: Betty Jean Batts; Brother: Lee Arthur “AJ” (Viviana) Batts: Special cousin: Bobby Minniefield and a host of nieces, nephews and a number of other relatives and loved ones. Graveside Service will be Friday, February 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Fairhaven Cemetery, 35th and Sanderson Lane, Texarkana, Arkansas 71854 with Overseer Kenneth Reid, Eulogist under the direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary.
