GLYNDA PLUNKETT-BLATTER

On Thursday February 24th 2022 Glynda Elaine Plunkett-Blatter, loving daughter, wife and mother, passed away at the age of 48. Elaine was born December 17th 1973 in Fort worth Texas. Her years we’re spent outside riding horses and being around animals as much as she could. She had a huge heart for her friends and family. She was one of the most dependable people you would ever meet. You could count on Elaine for anything. Elaine’s biggest joys were her children and being called gigi by six grandchildren. She was an amazing cook and could keep track of all the family’s birthdays, anniversaries, and any other date of importance. Elaine loved the Lord and trusted that she is his precious daughter. She firmly believed that Jesus died on the cross to save her soul. Philippians 4:6-7 do not worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience Gods peace. Which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Elaine is survived by mother Dianne Lemons and her husband Denny Lemons, brother Greg Plunkett and wife Sarah Plunkett and son Berkley Plunkett, Sons Zackary Buchanan and Wife Elisabeth Buchanan, Timothy Buchanan and Fiance Mary Lanz, Jerry Petty. Husband Daniel Blatter and his children Abby Green and husband James Green, Dalton Blatter and Wife Deandria Blatter. Grandchildren Emma Buchanan, Corey Green, Braxton Green, Emma Green, Weston Blatter, and Brinley Blatter. And many more loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her Father Jerry Plunkett. Visitation is scheduled 5:00-7:00pm Monday, February 28, 2022 at Chapelwood Funeral Home in Nash, TX. Funeral service will be 10:00am Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Circle J Cowboy Church, Todd Hervey officiating. Interment will follow at Chapelwood Cemetery.
