GARY MENDENALL

Gary Edward Mendenall, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in a hospital in Denton, TX following a battle with Parkinson’s and a recent stroke. Gary was born September 14, 1956 in Little Rock, AR to Loyd and Emma Jean Mendenall. He served in the US Air Force and had a successful career in sales throughout his life. He was a lifelong Arkansas Razorback and Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved his family dearly. Gary loved living his best life in many beautiful places including Arizona, Hawaii, Mexico, and Costa Rica. Gary is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Dot Crabbe and Robbie Frost, and his brother Rusty Mendenall. Gary is survived by his daughter Mistie and her husband Glen Parks, granddaughter Karis and grandson Colin Parks of Denton, TX. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Harold Crabbe, who helped care for Gary. His nieces Dana Richardson, Jamie Abercrombie, Morgan Rogers and Robin Hicks. And nephews Randy Crabbe, Darren Crabbe and Taylor Mendenall whom he loved so much. A memorial service will be set for a later time in Texarkana, AR.
