Bobby Jack Smith

Bobby Jack Smith, age 87, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his residence. Bobby was born August 13, 1934, in Hughes Springs, Texas, to Robert and Bonnie Smith. He was retired from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Service; and retired from the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He enjoyed spending time with family; and enjoyed being outdoors fishing and camping as well. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Qualls; grandson, Brian Smith; and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Smith of Atlanta, Texas; four sons, Robert Smith and wife Melody, David Smith and wife Brenda both of Rogers, Arkansas, Eddie Smith and wife Kathy of Atlanta, Texas, Jack Smith and wife Stella of Jefferson, Texas; daughter, LuJuana McDaniel of Atlanta, Texas; a brother, Johnny Smith of Athens, Texas; sister, Robin Burns and husband Alton of Quinlan, Texas; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
